2. Products & Services

2.1 Original Artwork

Original artworks are one‑of‑a‑kind pieces created by Samantha (LUMA Mai Art). Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings. Sizes are approximate.

2.2 Commissioned Artwork

Commissioned artwork is custom-made based on your preferences. Each commission is unique and created through a collaborative process.

2.3 Digital Prints

Digital prints are high-quality reproductions of selected original artworks. Colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings and printing processes.

3. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are listed in GBP (£).
• Payment must be made using one of our accepted methods (Shop Pay, Klarna, Partial.ly, or other methods displayed at checkout).
• Payment must be received in full before any artwork is dispatched.
• Commissioned artwork requires a non‑refundable deposit to secure your booking and cover initial design work.

4. Deposits for Commissioned Artwork

• A deposit is required to begin any commission.
• Deposits are non‑refundable once work has begun.
• You may cancel within 48 hours of paying your deposit for a full refund.
• After 48 hours, the deposit is retained to cover time, materials, and preparation.
• If LUMA Mai Art is unable to complete the commission, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.

5. Cooling-Off Period (Online Purchases)

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations:

5.1 Applies to:

• Original artwork (non‑custom)
• Digital prints

You have a 14‑day cooling‑off period from the date you receive your item. You may return it for a refund if it is in its original condition.

5.2 Does NOT apply to:

• Commissioned artwork
• Custom-made items
• Event bookings for a specific date

These items are exempt from the cooling-off period.

6. Returns & Refunds

6.1 Original Artwork & Digital Prints

You may return non‑custom items within 14 days of delivery. Refunds will be issued once the item is returned in its original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

6.2 Commissioned Artwork

Commissioned artwork is custom-made and cannot be returned unless:

• The artwork arrives damaged
• The artwork is not as described
• LUMA Mai Art fails to deliver the agreed commission

6.3 Faulty or Damaged Items

If your artwork arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours with photographs. A replacement or refund will be arranged.

7. Shipping & Delivery

• All artwork is packaged securely to ensure safe delivery.
• Shipping costs are displayed at checkout.
• Delivery times vary depending on location and courier.
• International orders may be subject to customs fees or import taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer.

8. Commission Process

By commissioning artwork, you agree to the following:

• The final piece will be created in the artist’s signature style.
• Minor adjustments may be requested during the creation process.
• Major changes may incur additional fees.
• Progress updates will be provided at agreed stages.
• Final approval is required before dispatch.

9. Events & Workshops (If Applicable)

• Deposits for events or workshops are non‑refundable unless the event is cancelled by LUMA Mai Art.
• Event bookings for a specific date are exempt from the cooling-off period.

10. Intellectual Property

• All artwork, prints, images, and content on this website are the intellectual property of LUMA Mai Art.
• You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or use any artwork or images without written permission.
• Purchasing artwork does not grant reproduction rights.

11. Website Content

We aim to ensure all information is accurate, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to update prices, descriptions, or policies at any time.

12. Privacy Policy

Your personal information is used only for order processing and communication. We do not share your data with third parties except for payment processing and delivery services.
